Headed the IT desk at the HQ for a multi-national sporting goods organization. Office duties included: upkeep and maintenance of servers, switches, WAPs and network devices. The position was responsible for maintaining an IT department budget, tracking spending, renewing vendor agreements, and purchasing. Production floor responsibilities included: maintaining the corporate intranet, service and maintenance of label printers, administrations of item SKU and part numbers, and maintenance of international shipping software. Hired on as a renewable contractor to assist in third shift ATM migrations within the Data Provisioning Group in Frontier’s Midwest Headquarters. Primary duties included: administration of Alcatel ALUs, Ciena 7100s, Adtran TA 5000s, CBX-500s, and Cisco 3600s & 9010. As a member of a tight knit group, migrated existing dynamic and static Frontier customers to newer aggregators in a nationwide effort to relieve congestion on an aging network.
